1. Fulfillment & Artwork Approval Process
Before your order is printed or shipped:
- You customize your portrait and place an order.
- Our team creates two sample versions based on your photo and instructions.
- You receive a private review link to select your favorite design.
- Once you approve the final design, your portrait is sent to Gelato for printing and fulfillment.
📌 Your order will not begin production until we receive your approval.
2. Local Production & Shipping Network
PetPicPortraits.com uses Gelato's print-on-demand network with 140+ print hubs across 32 countries, shipping to over 200 countries.
- 95% of orders are printed in the country of delivery, ensuring shorter transit times, reduced shipping costs, and lower carbon emissions.
- Sustainability: Local production minimizes transportation impact and supports small, local printers worldwide.
3. Delivery Times
Estimated delivery times begin after your final design is approved.
Once you select and approve your favorite portrait design, your order enters production and shipping begins. Approval delays may extend your total turnaround time.

4. Packaging
We take protection seriously. Your wall art is packaged securely to ensure safe delivery:
- Canvas Prints: Shipped in reinforced boxes
- Posters: Rolled image-inward and packed in sturdy tubes with protective wrapping
All packaging is optimized to meet local shipping standards and minimize damage in transit.
5. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs vary depending on the product type, size, destination, and chosen method (Standard or Express). Rates are calculated at checkout based on your location.
6. Customs, Duties & Taxes
For international orders:
- Customs fees or import taxes may apply depending on your country's regulations
- These charges are not included in the product or shipping price and are the buyer's responsibility

7. Tracking Your Order
Once your order is printed and shipped, you will receive an email with live tracking information. You'll be able to monitor your package every step of the way.
8. Shipping Accuracy & Delivery Issues
Please double-check your shipping details at checkout. We are not responsible for delays or lost orders due to:
- Incorrect addresses
- Incomplete recipient information
- P.O. Box limitations (in some countries)
If a package is returned to sender due to address issues or non-collection, you'll need to pay reshipping fees.

While we strive to meet all estimated timelines, delays may occasionally occur due to:
- Holidays or peak seasons
- Customs processing
- Extreme weather or courier disruptions
